Wood Duck
A colorful perching duck often found in wooded swamps, marshes, ponds, rivers, and wetland edges. Males have a glossy green-and-purple head, bold white markings, red eyes, and a chestnut breast, while females are gray-brown with a white eye-ring and soft crested head.
